Left Lane: Chip Ellis No Time, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.863/194.60, Was #5
Right Lane: Jerry Savoie Runs 6.805/197.31, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.831/195.68, Was #3

1:01 p.m.Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 65 percent, barometer 29.42 inches, adjusted altitude 2,801 feet, track temperature 104 degrees.

Ellis'bike stumbles off the line and he only moves a couple of feet. Savoie makes the quickest pass of the weekend and takes the pole for now.

Right Lane: Karen Stoffer Runs 6.935/194.35, Now #13; No Prior Run

DeSantis makes his first trip into the 6's this weekend and gets in the show in the 14th spot. Stoffer makes a decent pass and gets in the field in the 13th spot for now.
