A couple of Countdown to the Championship contenders here. Force is 9 - 8 against Kalitta in prior events. Kalitta double steps it and then his car has violent tire shake...Force launched into sever tire shake and didn't see the win light in her lane. She pedaled it a couple times trying to get it to hook up and then the engine let go with a quick fireball and chutes deployed. The word is there is oil in Force's lane and that will cost her $2000.

A couple of Countdown to the Championship contenders here. Brown is 19 - 1 against Millican in prior events. Brown with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Brown sets the track record. Brown with the eighth quickest pass in Top Fuel history. He runs his season fastest pass. Antron Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.831 sec., 330ft-2.099, 660ft-2.958/293.66 mph. Millican with a good clean pass in the losing effort.

LAngdon will give up lane choice to Brown in the semifinal. Lagana with a real nice pass in the losing effort.

A couple of Countdown to the Championship contenders here. Torrence is 2 - 0 against Pritchett in prior events. The y leave together with Torrence getting the slight advantage, but Pritchett had the lead as they went by the Christmas tree. Pritchett runs her career quickest pass in the win and will have lane choice over force in the semifinal.
