COMMERCE, Ga. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 36th annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 75 degrees, relative humidity 28 percent, barometer 29.26 inches, adjusted altitude 2,210 feet, track temperature 122 degrees.

Smith is 3 - 0 against Fiscus in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. Fiscus is out of the gate first, but was out of the groove early and Smith had the lead by 150 feet. Smith launched hard and was straight down the groove for the win. This is his second win this season and has been in all three final rounds this year. This is his 10th career win.
