Kalitta is 10 - 4 against Torrence in prior events and Torrence is 1 - 0 against Kalitta in prior final rounds. Kalitta with the starting line advantage and the power to hold on for the hole shot win. Doug Kalitta's MOV: 0.0196 seconds (approximately 9 feet). Kalitta was mixing up cylinders on the top end, but held on for the win. Torrence used up an engine with a fireball right in the lights. This is Kalitta's first win this season and the 39th of his career.
