Kalitta is 5 - 1 against Pritchett in prior events. Pritchett with the starting line advantage, but she is dropping cylinders right from the hit and then has a flash of flames. Kalitta launched hard and was straight down the groove with a real nice pass to take the win.

Brown is 16 - 0 against Torrence in prior events. Brown with the starting line advantage and the lead until around 800 feet when Torrence was able to chase him down and take the win. Steve Torrence's MOV: 0.0137 seconds (approximately 6 feet). Torrence with the quickest pass of race day for the win. Torrence will have lane choice over Kalitta in the final.
