McGaha is 2 - 1 against Butner in prior events. McGaha is just a little too quick on the tree and turns on the red light. Butner is straight down the groove and into the semifinal.

Skillman is 3 - 2 against Johnson in prior events. Skillman with the starting line advantage and then had problems and pushed in the clutch before half track and Johnson gets the win.
