CHANDLER, Ariz. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 32nd annual CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Vincent Nobile Runs 6.761/207.59, Now #10; No Prior Run
Right Lane: V. Gaines Runs 7.209/204.94, Now #13; Best prior run: 7.237/204.91, Was #12

Nobile with his best pass of the weekend, getting the car to the starting line and then making a clean pass to go to the number 10 spot. Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-1.035 sec., 330ft-2.869, 660ft-4.376/164.17 mph, 1,000ft-5.670. Gaines with tire shake right at the hit, but drives through it and improves, but still gets knocked back one spot by Nobile.

These two are side-by-side all the way down the track. McGaha launched hard and keep it hooked up to go to the number four spot. Kramer with his quickest pass of the weekend to move up the ladder a few spots to go to the number 10 spot. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-1.002 sec., 330ft-2.816, 660ft-4.323/164.01 mph, 1,000ft-5.619. Enders drives through some tire shake right at the hit, but will not improve. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-1.020 sec., 330ft-2.833, 660ft-4.334/163.91 mph, 1,000ft-5.629.

Coughlin is just a tick off his qualifying time from yesterday and gets bumped back one by Johnson. Butner launched hard and was straight down the groove to make the quickest pass of the round. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.758, 660ft-4.247/165.50 mph, 1,000ft-5.534. Skillman with severe tire shake and clicked it off.
