Coughlin is 2 - 0 against Farber in prior events. Coughlin with the starting line advantage, but then started drifting out of the groove and toward the centerline. He collects the 1/8 mile cones and Farber gets the win.

This is the first time Snavely and alBalooshi have faced each other in eliminations. Snavely with the slight starting line advantage, but alBalooshi has the difference made up by the time they go by the Christmas tree and never trails from there on for the win. He will have lane choice over Farber in the final.
