LAS VEGAS - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 15th annual NHRA Toyota Nationals:

This is the 4th time that Jerry Savoie has qualified #1 and three of those have come during the "Countdown" this year. He won in Dallas from the top spot.

This is the 48th start for Freddie Camarena.

Camarena gets out of the gate first, then Savoie goes around him at the sixty foot mark and pulls away for the win.

Berry gets out of the gate first, starts pulling away, and extends his lead all the way through the run. Ray makes his slowest pass of the weekend in the loss.

Ellis is 12 - 7 against Johnson in prior events.

Johnson gets a big holeshot and makes it count. Ellis was gaining all the way through the run but soon ran out of race track.

Savoie will have lane choice over Johnson in the next round.
