Beckman set the national ET record here today for the third time this season. He is the first Funny Car driver to do that since Cruz Pedregon did it in 1998.

Head had his career best ET on this run but Beckman was quicker coming out of the gate to take the win on a holeshot. This was the seventh win of the season for Beckman and the 22nd of his career. This win, coupled with Del Worsham's first round loss here today, pulls Beckman to just 16 points behind Worsham in the Funny Car championship points race.
