Brown is 8 - 1 against Todd in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round.Brown with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Brown with his second quickest pass of the weekend for the win. Brown will leave here with the point lead. This is fifth win this season and the 63rd of his career and the 36th in his Top Fuel career. Todd appeared to torch a head gasket just past half track.
