BROWNSBURG, Ind. - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 61st annual Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Steve Schmidt Runs 6.824/203.19, Now #20; Best prior run: 15.258/55.77, Was #21

3:20 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 92 degrees, relative humidity 45 percent, barometer 29.16 inches, adjusted altitude 3,920 feet, track temperature 127 degrees.

With 21 cars on the grounds and 16 spots in the field, five drivers will be disappointed by the end of this session.

Schmidt made his best run of the weekend. He did not make the field, but he did avoid the tire shake that ended his three prior runs.

Right Lane: John Gaydosh Jr Runs 13.910/58.72, Now #18; Best prior run: 6.681/206.48, Was #18

Gaydosh shook immediately and he'll be a spectator tomorrow. Stroupe appeared to make a full pass, but he is well off the competitive pace and his weekend is over.

Right Lane: Aaron Stanfield Runs 6.683/208.88, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.636/208.84, Was #15

Kenny Delco elected to skip this session, so he joins the list of DNQ's, now with just one open spot.

Stanfield made a full pass, did not improve, he is 15th for now.

Left Lane: Vincent Nobile Runs 6.630/209.46, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.657/209.62, Was #17
Right Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 6.664/209.04, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.628/209.20, Was #14

Nobile is the final car in the lanes and not already in the field. Matt Hartford is on the bump spot at 6.647.

Nobile made his best run of the event and that puts Stanfield on the bump spot at 6.636.

Hartford was just bumped. Either he or Stanfield will be in the field tomorrow, not both. The bump time is 6.636.

Hartford had a good 60-foot time, but came up short and Stanfield will anchor the 16-car field.

Morgan shook and shut off.

Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.995 sec., 330ft-2.789, 660ft-4.285/164.71 mph, 1,000ft-5.574.

Anderson takes over as quickest of the session, earning three more points. Shane Gray gets two and Enders gets 1.
