Torrence is 5 - 3 against Todd in prior events. Todd with the starting line advantage and the power to hold on for the hole shot win. J.R. Todd's MOV: 0.0147 seconds (approximately 7 feet). That was a great drag race...Todd matched his E.T. from round one for the win. Torrence with his quickest pass of the weekend in the losing effort. J.R. Todd's incremental times: 60ft-0.841 sec., 330ft-2.134, 660ft-3.020/286.25 mph.
Steve Torrence's incremental times: 60ft-0.829 sec., 330ft-2.126, 660ft-3.022/284.45 mph.

Lagana and Brown have each won 1 times against the other in prior events. Brown with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Lagana shook and then banged the blower and the chutes came out, he stopped on the track before the finish line.

Lucas is 8 - 5 against Langdon in prior events. Lucas with the starting line advantage and then drops a cylinder or two and never gets it to pick them up and then really mixes them up on the top end. There is a quick flash of flame right past the finish line. Langdon with severe tire shake right at the hit and pedaled it and couldn't get it to hook up. Lucas will give up lane choice to Brown in the semifinal.

Schumacher will have lane choice over Todd in the semifinal. Crampton with a good looking pass in the losing effort.
