Pelrine with the starting line advantage, but Grimes had the lead by 400 feet and blasted on down the 1320 for the win. Grimes with the quickest pass of the event for the win and will have lane choice over Cownden in the final. Grimes with the win will clinch the Top Fuel Harley Championship.
