Left Lane: Clint Rabb No Time, Now #2
Right Lane: Jeff Marsh Runs 12.950/79.75, Now #1

3:20 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 25 percent, barometer 28.10 inches, adjusted altitude 3,788 feet, track temperature 104 degrees.

Rabb hit the throttle and lost power right off the line. Marsh ran it just past half track and backed off the throttle.

Right Lane: John Schaber Runs 13.854/72.42, Now #2

Schaber had problems right off the line, got off and on the throttle two or three times.
