Schumacher is 2 - 1 against Force in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. Schumacher with the starting line and then is up in smoke and gets off the throttle about the time Force starts to lose traction. She pedals it, but Schumacher is able to let it settle down first and and never trailed to take the win. This is Schumacher's fifth win this season and his 77th in his career. for the first time since Charlotte 2 last year a Top Fuel driver has won the Wally form the number one spot. This is Schumacher's 500th round win as he he extends his point lead to 134 points.
