MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 30th annual NHRA Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 58 degrees, relative humidity 44 percent, barometer 29.32 inches, adjusted altitude 1,016 feet, track temperature 83 degrees.

Gray is 3 - 0 against Gaines in prior events. Gray with the starting line advantage and then has severe tire shake right at the hit and clicks it off. Gaines with a great light and was straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend for the win.

This is the first time Stevens and Brogdon have faced each other in eliminations. They leave together and then Stevens has a lot of tire shake and he pedals it, but can't chase Brogdon down. Brogdon with his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. Rodger Brogdon's incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.725, 660ft-4.181/169.00 mph, 1,000ft-5.437.

Nobile with a great pass, straight down the groove with his career best E.T. for the win. Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-0.974 sec., 330ft-2.720, 660ft-4.175/169.00 mph, 1,000ft-5.430. Connolly with his quickest pass of the weekend in the losing effort.

Johnson is 25 - 12 against Morgan in prior events. Morgan with a near perfect light and then lead until right in the lights when Johnson was able to chase him down. Allen Johnson's MOV: 0.0407 seconds (approximately 13 feet). Johnson will give up lane choice to Nobile in the next round.

Enders-Stevens is 1 - 0 against Gugliotta in prior events. Gugliotta with the starting line advantage and the lead until around 400 feet when Enders-Stevens chases him down and takes the win. Erica Enders-Stevens' MOV: 0.0762 seconds (approximately 23 feet). Ender-Stevens with the quickest pass of race day and the third quickest on the history of the class. She will have lane choice over Gaines in the next round.
