MOHNTON, Pa. -- Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, Seventh annual Pep Boys NHRA Carolina Nationals:

Veale is too quick on the tree and turns on the red light, and then past the finish line the car is out of the groove and close to the wall. Meyer launched hard and keep it hitting on all eight to take the easy win.

Bourke with the starting line advantage, but Demke has the difference made up by the time they go by the Christmas tree and takes the win with a great pass. Demke is one round closer to chinching the Championship. Demke will have lane choice over Reichert in the semifinal.
