This is the first time Severance and Lawson have faced each other in eliminations. Severance with the starting line advantage and then has problems right at the hit and clicks it off. Lawson launched hard and was straight down the groove to take the win light. His second National event win this year and the second of his career in as many final rounds. Shayne Lawson's incremental times: 60ft-0.940 sec., 330ft-2.424, 660ft-3.529/225.97 mph, 1,000ft-4.476.
