Demke has twelve national event wins, with two in 2014. He was the runner-up here last year. McPhillips has three national event wins and was runner-up here in 1997. Demke is 3 - 0 against McPhillips in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round.

Well that was winning ugly! Chris Demke apparently didn't see McPhillips red light and was in and out of the throttle several times and used a lot of track getting to the finish line. McPhillip was done early after his red light.

Chris Demke's incremental times: 60ft-0.961 sec., 330ft-2.641, 660ft-3.898/201.10 mph, 1,000ft-4.938.
