Farber was off the line first and steadily pulled away for the win. His car got a bit loose on the top end, but he stayed in the throttle for the win.

Coughlin had a small edge at the green, opened that up to about a car length at the stripe.

This is the first time Glidden and Stevenson have faced each other in eliminations. Glidden won in round one with a combination of a holeshot and a career-best ET.

Stevenson went red and Glidden got the automatic win light. He made his third five-second run in a row, but won't have lane choice against Farber in the semifinals.

This is the first time Naiser and Smith have faced each other in eliminations.

Naiser slowed near half track. Smith had a great light and a good run, but won't have lane choice against Coughlin in the semifinals.
