K&N Strengthens Alliance with Luke Bogacki Motorsports

Reigning NHRA Super Comp world champion Luke Bogacki is proud to announce that K&N Engineering will be the featured marketing partner on his Super Comp dragster throughout the 2014 season. Bogacki will campaign the same American Race Cars dragster that he drove to the title in 2013, but the machine will feature a new color scheme featuring the K&N logo and company colors. That scheme will come in the form of a vinyl wrap designed and applied by PCD Wraps.

The alliance between Bogacki and K&N, while more visible than in previous seasons, is an extension of a long and successful relationship. Luke Bogacki Motorsports has relied on K&N products for over a decade, and has been involved in the company's marketing efforts since 2007.

"I couldn't be more excited to extend and increase our partnership with K&N Engineering," stated Bogacki. "Coming up as a racer, it's been a lifelong dream to drive a car wrapped in the colors of a corporate sponsor that believes in what I'm doing on and off the track. At first, involvement from any sponsor would have been greatly appreciated. Over time, as I built my career I began to realize that marketing partnership is as much a reflection on me and my team as it is on the partners that we represent. As a result, the list of affiliates that I'd even consider representing in this fashion is pretty short. K&N Engineering is at the top of that list. K&N is an internationally recognized company with a reputation for innovative quality products. Better yet, the company is vested in sportsman drag racing, so they can take full advantage of what my team has to offer, and vice-versa. Aligning with K&N at this level is really a dream come true."

In addition to his 2013 NHRA Super Comp world championship, Bogacki is a 4-time NHRA division champion and has six NHRA Mello Yello series victories to his credit. Prior to turning his focus NHRA championships, Bogacki earned a reputation as one of the top sportsman racers in the nation thanks to over a decade of success in IHRA and big dollar bracket competition. Bogacki joins a group of talented and successful K&N backed competitors in the NHRA sportsman ranks, including Mike Ferderer, Tommy Phillips, Dan Fletcher, Kathy Fisher, Gary Stinnett, K&N's own Steve Williams, and many more.

"K&N is very proud to have Luke Bogacki Motorsports as a significant partner for the 2014 season," said K&N Engineering vice president Steve Williams. "The NHRA Lucas Oil Series is such an important series to K&N because these competitors use our products to help them win championships. Luke has clearly demonstrated his talent and commitment in the sportsman categories and we look forward to helping him win another championship."
