The Southwest Heritage Racing Association, presented by MalloryPrint.com, is proud to announce it's eight race 2014 schedule. Entering it's sophomore year as association, the SHRA series has seen rapid growth and is proud to expand the number of events spanning across the Southwest in Texas and Oklahoma. This series was developed to showcase the booming nostalgia drag racing scene at a grassroots level, providing affordable and most importantly, fun racing for local racers at local tracks. With five classes to choose from, anything 1979 and earlier has a place to race in the SHRA program, from blown and injected front engine dragsters and altereds to sportsman level classes for door cars, gassers and more! With a high emphasis on having fun and putting on a great show, the SHRA appeals to a wide variety of racers with many unique engine combinations and vehicles.

The 2014 season will start off at North Star Dragway on April 5th with the SHRA Spring Nostalgia Nationals. The SHRA will be busy in the spring months as the tour then heads to Wichita Raceway Park in Wichita Falls, TX, Little River Dragway in Temple, TX, and Ardmore Dragway in Ardmore, Oklahoma all before the month of June. After a small summer break, the SHRA invades San Antonio Raceway in July then returns to Ardmore Dragway and North Star Dragway before closing the season at the SHRA Championship Finals on November 8th at the historic Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX. With eight races for nostalgia eliminator classes and six events for the sportsman classes, the 2014 season will host plenty of old school drag racing excitement!

August 30 - Ardmore Dragway - Ardmore, OK
October 4 - North Star Dragway - Denton, TX
November 8 - Texas Motorplex SHRA Finals - Ennis, TX
