POMONA, Calif. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 54th annual Circle K NHRA Winternationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 66 degrees, relative humidity 52 percent, barometer 29.00 inches, adjusted altitude 2,033 feet, track temperature 72 degrees.

alBalooshi is 4 - 3 against Kalitta in prior events and alBalooshi is 1 - 0 against Kalitta in prior final rounds. Kalitta is out of the gate first and alBalooshi starts to shake and does a quick pedal job and gets it to hook up as Kalitta is up in smoke. When Kalitta pedaled it he was back up in smoke, and can't chase alBalooshi down. alBalooshi picks up his third National event win and will go into Phoenix with Mello Yello point lead for the first time in his career.
