LAS VEGAS -- The JEGS Crown trophy is there for the taking for 17 highly skilled sportsman drag racers at the upcoming JEGS NHRA Pacific SPORTSnationals, October 11-13 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The JEGS Crown, handcrafted by Dan Dreisbach of Naked Sculpture, is a specially designed trophy to be awarded to any racer to win an eliminator title at two of the three JEGS NHRA SPORTSnationals events held each year; the JEGS NHRA Cajun SPORTSnationals in Belle Rose, La., the JEGS NHRA Northern SPORTSnationals in Columbus, Ohio and the JEGS NHRA Pacific SPORTSnationals in Las Vegas.

Since its creation in 2005, the JEGS Crown has been claimed just once, by former Pro Mod racer Mike Ashley.
