MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 29th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Right Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 7.086/188.36, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.037/188.10, Was #12

11:13 a.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 79 degrees, relative humidity 66 percent, barometer 29.50 inches, adjusted altitude 2,676 feet, track temperature 96 degrees.

Desantis had a good ride but was not as quick as he was yesterday, so he'll stay where he was in the order for now.

Left Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 7.066/188.62, Now #13; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Eddie Krawiec Runs 7.023/188.15, Now #11; Best prior run: 7.031/188.81, Was #11

Krawiec stayed where he was in the order. Gann did not make the provisional field of 12 yesterday but put himself into the number 13 spot with this ride.

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 6.975/190.24, Now #8; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Chaz Kennedy Runs 7.069/185.38, Now #11; Best prior run: 7.015/177.58, Was #10

A pair of good rides that moved Johnson up in the order but pushed Kennedy down.

Left Lane: LE Tonglet Runs 6.957/190.30, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.984/190.54, Was #10
Right Lane: Scotty Pollacheck Runs 6.982/188.33, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.980/189.79, Was #9

Both rides looked okay. Tonglet moved up, Pollacheck got pushed down.

Left Lane: Wesley Wells Runs 7.139/183.84, Now #15; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Andrew Hines Runs 7.010/187.23, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.973/189.84, Was #8

This was a pair of rides that looked okay. Wells is in the field for now, Hines stayed where he was in the order.

Left Lane: John Hall Runs 6.936/191.00, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.914/191.57, Was #5
Right Lane: Adam Arana Runs 6.950/192.82, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.955/192.06, Was #6

A pair of okay rides that had no effect on anything.

Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 6.889/193.10, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.912/193.49, Was #4

Both riders stayed where they were in the order after these runs.

Ray was not as quick as yesterday, Arana was quicker but not quick enough to move up in the order.
