MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Extreme Pro Stock at the 2013 ADRL Tour presented by Speedtech, ADRL Memphis Drags IV listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: John Bartunek Runs 6.405/76.40, Now #12; Best prior run: 4.182/174.35, Was #11
Right Lane: Kevin Bealko Runs 4.123/175.39, Now #2; Best prior run: 5.869/82.31, Was #15

10:03 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 82 percent, barometer 29.64 inches, adjusted altitude 2,602 feet, track temperature 90 degrees.

Bartunek gets way out of shape off the line and has to click it off early. Bealko makes a good pass this time and moves all the way to the second spot for now.

Left Lane: John Deflorian Jr. Runs 4.146/175.07, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.155/176.35, Was #7
Right Lane: Cary Goforth Runs 4.122/175.80, Now #1; Best prior run: 4.161/175.32, Was #9

Goforth makes the quickest pass of the day so far and moves into the top spot for now. Deflorian makes a decent pass but stays in the seventh spot.

Left Lane: Scott Hintz Runs 4.110/175.80, Now #1; Best prior run: 4.158/175.82, Was #9
Right Lane: Doug Kirk Runs 4.165/174.10, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.475/100.52, Was #16

irk is able to keep the slicks stuck this time and improves to the tenth spot. Hintz goes right down the groove and moves into the top spot for now.

Left Lane: Bradley Waddle Runs 4.114/176.03, Now #2; Best prior run: 4.193/174.35, Was #15
Right Lane: John Pluchino Runs 4.118/175.11, Now #3; Best prior run: 4.140/175.32, Was #7

This was a great side-by-side. They were glued together all the way through the run with Waddle just edging ahead of Pluchino.

Left Lane: Pete Berner Runs 4.108/175.39, Now #1; Best prior run: 4.123/175.80, Was #5
Right Lane: Ron Miller Runs 4.169/171.62, Now #12; Best prior run: 4.192/171.08, Was #15

The hits keep coming. Berner goes right down the groove in the Summit car and moves into the top spot. Miller improves and moves up to the 12th spot.

Left Lane: Dean Goforth Runs 8.222/53.66, Now #15; Best prior run: 4.182/175.43, Was #14
Right Lane: Brian Gahm Runs 4.125/175.64, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.263/173.45, Was #16

Goforth has problems off the line, gets about sixty feet out and the car noses over. Gahm improves and gets off the bump and into the seventh spot for now.

Left Lane: Trevor Eman Runs 4.115/174.82, Now #4; Best prior run: 4.147/174.75, Was #11
Right Lane: Elijah Morton Runs 4.137/175.50, Now #10; Best prior run: 4.134/175.57, Was #9

Eman improves and moves up to the fourth spot. No improvement for Morton and he drops a spot as Eman goes around him in the order.

Left Lane: Richard Penland Runs 4.194/173.67, Now #15; Best prior run: 4.174/174.32, Was #14
Right Lane: Rick Cowger Runs 4.160/175.02, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.809/68.99, Was #17

Cowger is able to keep the slicks stuck and improves to the 12th spot. Penland slows from his earlier attempt and drops a spot in the order.

Right Lane: John Montecalvo Runs 4.099/176.47, Now #1; Best prior run: 4.129/176.14, Was #9

Montecalvo makes an impressive pass and gets into the 4.0's and takes the pole to end this session.
