BUDDS CREEK, Md. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous at the 2013 X-Treme Drag Racing League, Mayhem at the Creek listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Duke Snyder Runs 3.894/195.76, Now #2; Best prior run: 5.114/99.02, Was #5
Right Lane: Jim Laurita Runs 3.866/193.21, Now #1; Best prior run: 4.752/108.67, Was #4

6:19 p.m. Both drivers solved their first-session problems and they went to the top two spots on clean, smooth runs.

Duke Snyder's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.624.
Jim Laurita's incremental times: 60ft-0.948 sec., 330ft-2.580.

Left Lane: Jim Sackuvich Runs 4.629/158.95, Now #7; Best prior run: 5.943/100.31, Was #8
Right Lane: Tommy Franklin Runs 4.411/124.20, Now #6; Best prior run: 5.423/89.50, Was #7

Franklin was on a nice run, shut it off early for some reason. Sackuvich made an on-and-off the throttle run.

Left Lane: Randy Weatherford Runs 3.929/192.66, Now #3; Best prior run: 4.023/186.02, Was #4
Right Lane: Chuck Mohn Runs 4.037/179.06, Now #5; Best prior run: 4.029/179.11, Was #5

Two nice runs, Weatherford all the way up to third. Mohn did not improve.

Right Lane: Ed Burnley Runs 4.368/128.53, Now #5; Best prior run: 3.984/186.51, Was #4

Burnley was on a strong run, but the rear of his car started wagging back and forth and he had to lift. Eahaim made a full pass, slipped right into the second spot.
