MARTIN, Mich. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Extreme at the 2013 ADRL Tour presented by Speedtech, ADRL Summer Drags IX listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Richard Holt Runs 4.029/164.05, Now #1
Right Lane: Michael Bickle Runs 4.799/124.90, Now #2

12:47 p.m. Bickle was slow off the line. Holt left hard, slowed on the top end.

Left Lane: Jason Scruggs Runs 3.926/196.26, Now #2
Right Lane: Tommy D'Aprile Runs 3.693/204.79, Now #1

Scruggs was on a pass, then the car got loose and he had to backpedal to get it stuck again. Nice run by D'Aprile, looks like this will be a very good session.

Jason Scruggs' incremental times: 60ft-0.932 sec., 330ft-2.635.
Tommy D'Aprile's incremental times: 60ft-0.917 sec., 330ft-2.481.

Left Lane: Mike Recchia Runs 3.800/195.49, Now #3
Right Lane: Von Smith Runs 3.658/208.71, Now #1

Recchia had a good launch, then lost ground before the 330-foot marker. Smith amde a nice run to take over the #1 spot.

Mike Recchia's incremental times: 60ft-0.940 sec., 330ft-2.539.
Von Smith's incremental times: 60ft-0.922 sec., 330ft-2.468.

Left Lane: Gene Hector Runs 5.491/90.70, Now #8
Right Lane: Alex Hossler Runs 3.630/207.71, Now #1

Hector got very sideways and lifted. Hossler went right down the groove and he's now #1.

Gene Hector's incremental times: 60ft-0.926 sec., 330ft-3.081.
Alex Hossler's incremental times: 60ft-0.909 sec., 330ft-2.441.

Left Lane: Steve George Runs 3.988/184.97, Now #7
Right Lane: Bubba Stanton Runs 3.650/206.64, Now #2

George got out of the groove a bit on the top end. Stanton joined thos making an awesome first run, but he's only #2.

Left Lane: John Stanley Runs 3.778/203.33, Now #6
Right Lane: Todd Tutterow Runs 3.743/204.78, Now #5

Nothing really bad in either lane, but we are getting spoiled.

Left Lane: Neal Wantye Runs 5.239/93.13, Now #13
Right Lane: Joey Martin Runs 3.776/199.34, Now #6

Martin was about a tenth behind the quick cars at the 330, slowed on the top end.

Left Lane: Eric Dillard Runs -99.999/0.00, Now #16
Right Lane: Mick Snyder Runs 5.324/88.89, Now #14

Dillard broke on the burnout. Snyder shook and lifted.

Left Lane: Brandon Snider Runs 5.073/114.65, Now #14
Right Lane: Larry Jeffers Runs 4.106/184.94, Now #12

Snider shook and slowed. Jeffers' car was making a lot of RPMs, but wasn't going anywhere in a hurry.
