Cason got the bye with an odd number here tonight(5). He launched, slowed before going 100 feet.

Pier made a pretty-good-looking run, it's hard to judge since they are running 1,000 feet here to give them plenty of shutdown area. Kile's bike was slow off the line and he shut it down in the middle of the run.

Turner left hard, but shut it down about 300 feet into the run. Even so, he was an easy winner because Comunal's engine never did come up to racing RPM and he coasted through.

Turner will face Pier in the championship pair, Pier has lane choice.
