4:40 p.m. - Fishburn spun the rear tires when he launched but tried to drive through the spin. His car drifted out of the groove and came close to crossing the center line until Fishburn backed off the throttle. In the other lane, Thacker took his supercharged dragster straight down the groove for the win.

The first pair was two supercharged dragsters and this pair was two nitro-fueled dragsters. Michalek got this one on a holeshot. He'll have lane choice over Thacker in the final round.
