BAYTOWN, Texas - 8:30 a.m. - Right now, race officials are planning to run first-round eliminations for Competition Eliminator and Top Alcohol, starting at 9:30 a.m., prior to the first round of Pro eliminations.

The start time is a little soft because the heavy rains loosened the rubber accumulation on some parts of the race track and that has to be addressed before they can call any cars to the lanes.

Pro sessions are set to start with Top Fuel at 11 a.m., with round three on live TV at 2:35 p.m. and finals starting at 3:40 p.m.

The live TV window opens at 2 p.m., but the first part of the show will recap the opening two rounds and the run order will be reversed, with Pro Stock Motorcycle out first.

Nobody "upstairs" is willing to commit to a schedule yet for anything other than the four Pro categories, Top Alcohol, Pro Modified and Competition Eliminator for today.
