Brown is 21 - 15 against Schumacher in prior events and Brown is 6 - 3 against Schumacher in prior final rounds. Brown with the starting line advantage, but Schumacher had the difference made up by the time they went by the Christmas tree and took the win. This is Schumacher's second win this season and his 71st in his career.
