Mother Nature and afternoon rain forced an early end to day two of the JEGS NHRA Cajun SPORTSnationals at No Problem Raceway and the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. Prior to track and NHRA officials stopping the action, round one of Stock & Super Stock Class was completed as fields were set for Sunday's eliminations in all classes except the divisions Orteq Top Sportsman Series.

Jeff Colvert, Arkadelphia, Ark., and Jonathan Allegrucci both held on to their number one qualifying positions in Super Stock and Stock respectively as did Michael Kile in the Sunset Racecraft Top Dragster class. Kyle's 6.211 second pass at 219.33 mph from Friday remained on top with Chase Murray in second at 6.246, 224.28.

Arnie Martel

Arnie Martel is No. 1 in Comp qualifying which has been finalized while Bob Gulitti is low in Top Sportsman which will have a final qualifying pass on Sunday morning.

In the Sportsman Motorcycle Series presented by Harley Davidson it was Mike Voss leading the charge with a 0.006 second reaction time followed by Michael Nash and Chris Duhe, Gramercy, La.

The Moser Sportsman Shootout will be carried over to Sunday with elimination rounds worked into the days schedule along with elimination rounds for the JEGS Cajun Sportsnationals event. Racers qualified for the shootout through a year-long points battle during the 2012 season.
