POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 53rd annual O'Reilly NHRA Winternationals presented by Super Start Batteries:

Stanfield with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. McGaha shook hard right at the hit and made a quick move toward the centerline and clicked it off as he was crossing the centerline.

Nobile is 4 - 0 against Gray in prior events. A couple great light with Gray off the line first, but Nobile had the lead just past the Christmas tree and to the win by 0.0513 seconds (approximately 16 feet). Nobile will have lane choice over Stanfield in the semifinal.

Johnson is 14 - 7 against Gaines in prior events. Gaines with the starting line advantage and then runs the quickest pass of the round for the win.

Coughlin is 32 - 26 against Johnson in prior events. Johnson with the starting line advantage, but Coughlin had the lead before they went by the Christmas tree. Coughlin with the second quickest pass of the round, but will give up lane choice to Gaines in the semifinal who had the quickest pass of the round.
