Left Lane: Mike DePalma Runs 11.359/84.26/1.629, Now #1; I/SM Index: 9.73, Prior Best: 9.067/148.20/-0.663, Was #1
Right Lane: Ross Wilson Runs 8.772/125.51/-0.118, Now #4; C/SM Index: 8.89, Prior Best: 8.312/162.47/-0.578, Was #4

1:10 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 74 degrees, relative humidity 24 percent, barometer 27.88 inches, adjusted altitude 3,723 feet, track temperature 93 degrees.

DePalma is number one at -0.663 under his index and there is no bump spot yet. The first four pairs are numbers from the first round of the Comp Shootout.

DePalma has issues and slows. Wilson doesn't improve either.

Fitzpatrick's turbo Toyota isn't happy and chugs off the line.

Great pass for Hogan to move right up three spots to the current #5 spot.

Neff makes his first pass of the weekend and its a good one. The little six jumps up into the new number two spot.

Edwards tunes up the Neon and moves four spots up the ladder.

Left Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.841/196.93/-0.599, Now #5; B/DA Index: 7.44, Prior Best: 6.884/195.56/-0.556, Was #9
Right Lane: Justin Lamb Runs 8.809/151.87/-0.501, Now #18; F/SMA Index: 9.31, No Prior Run

Lamb makes his first pass and will be looking for more later.

Clean and straight pass for Hartford and he moves well up into the top eight.

Left Lane: Randy Goff Runs 8.460/158.11/-0.370, Now #24; B/T Index: 8.83, Prior Best: 8.500/157.76/-0.330, Was #23

First pass for Hedlund too and he makes a strong pass into the top eight.

Goff picks up a little, but Hedlund's better times push him back a spot.

Maris runs just a little better to move up a spot.

Dunn slows.

Ellis is consistent and runs close to his prior times.

Carter gets a full pass, but not up to par.

Forrester improves a nickle and moves five spots on the ladder.

Moscini picks up a little too.

Both cars get to the finish line without issue.

Smiley's Corvette leaves hard and then has to lift.

Kent can't improve.

Odd! Rampy has to do a second burnout to get the tires to spin hard. It must have worked, as he powers into the top eight.

Lane gets a pass and is in the top sixteen.

Cocuzza gets a full pass this time and jumps well up the ladder.

Smiley doesn't improve.

Strong has issues and they push the car back out of the lights.

Ladwig continues to struggle, but puts a number on the scoreboards.

1:29 PM DePalma stays number one and there is still no bump spot.
