Hossler did a whole lot of driving for his 3.655, the car left of the groove and loose for much of the run. Left Lane: Von Smith Runs 4.865/101.97, Now #12; Best prior run: 3.704/203.65, Was #11 Right Lane: Duane Rister Runs 3.700/204.35, Now #10; Best prior run: 3.725/199.40, Was #13 Shake and slow for Smith. Rister made his best run of the dy to move up several spots.
