Nice match here, two of the quickest doorslammers on the planet. The quickest-ever doorslammer beat the quickest-ever Pro Mod with an outstanding run, steadily pulling away from Hahn all the way down the track. Mitch Stott's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.003), 330 ft(0.012), 660ft(0.025), 1,000ft(0.046). MOV: 0.0641 seconds (approximately 21 feet).

Stott was away first, but his car did a dance and slipped out of the groove. He never lifted and went back by Billes on the top end to set the AMS Pro Mod speed record, his 233.72 in qualifying backing it up. Quain will not have lane choice against Mitch in the semifinals, however. Quain Stott's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(0.024), 330 ft(-0.016), 660ft(-0.006), 1,000ft(0.009). MOV: 0.0271 seconds (approximately 9 feet).
