MISSION, B.C. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Northwest Division, LORDCO Auto Parts BC Nationals at Mission Raceway:

2:42 pm. The current division champ is heading to the final round with this single. Gasparrelli runs yet another pass in the 50's. According to the Division 6 drag racing Oracle, Mike Rice, Gasparrelli has set a new track record with his run in the first round.

Steve Gasparrelli's incremental times: 60ft-0.953 sec., 330ft-2.514, 660ft-3.719/206.54 mph, 1,000ft-4.735.

Both cars carry the wheels out to the 300ft mark, Hough brings the car back into the center of the lane. Thompson had to lift as came close to the centerline. Hough will go to the final round but won't have lane choice.

Brian Hough's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.019), 330 ft(0.077), 660ft(0.162), 1,000ft(0.373). MOV: 0.7788 seconds (more than 100 feet).
