The last time Gill won a Division One points race was at Numidia in 2003. Manzo came out of the gate shaking the tires but drove through it. Gill got out to about 330 feet when the the rear end of his car got loose and fishtailed, allowing Manzo to pull away for the win. This was the 19th time that Manzo has won a Division One points race here. His first win came in 1987.
