BATON ROUGE, La. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Mod Invitational at the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour, Renegades Division 4, day two at State Capitol Raceway:

12:19 p.m. Burd had the advantage at the green, but Doucet had the lead before they went 60 feet. Bill Doucet's MOV: 0.0620 seconds (approximately 15 feet).

Mohana pulled the trigger four thousandths early and we won't see his gorgeous '57 Bel Air again this weekend. Weaver saw the win light and lifted.

Shelly "double-bulbed" Palmisano and Palmisano decided to take his time before pulling into pre-stage. Then he took some more time. And a little more. Shelly went red by three thousandths and Palmissano almost duplicated his best qualifying run. He will have lane choice against Weaver in the semifinals.

Collins ran just about where he qualified and that was not enough against Suggs' great-looking '41 Willys pickup truck. Suggs ran low ET of the round and will have lane choice against Doucet in the semifinals.
