8:41 p.m. Hilsabeck came away from his first Nitro Jam last night with the champion's share of the goodies.

Looks like he plans to make a habit of this winning thing - he had a nice starting line advantage and a much quicker run for an easy win. Padilla made a good run, with a strong finish, but Hilsabeck got the win light.

Maroney's win streak was broken last night and it looked like he'd have to wait until Pittsburgh to start a new one because he left early here. However, Hough's altered kept drifting left and he took out the 1,000-foot timing reflector. Based on the "first or worst" rule, crossing the centerline is worse than a red light and Maroney is reinstated as the winner.

Now we're on a brief hold for light rain.
