GAINESVILLE, Fla. - 12:45 p.m. The weather situation hasn't changed much.

The skies are brighter, but a light mist continues to fall and the track is still very shiny.

The rain let up enough for track drying to start around 11:30, but the continuing mist turned the track shiny again within 10-15 minutes after the sweeper made a pass.

Check back later today, maybe the news will improve.
