YORBA LINDA, Calif. --
"My dad, in addition to being one of the winningest drivers in motorsports history, is also one of the most energetic, entertaining and bigger than life personalities in the sport of NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing. We joke that it's like a tornado when he arrives, and craziness usually follows. The fans love how outgoing and outspoken he is, and his passion for drag racing shows in all that he does," said Force Hood, John Force Entertainment president. "In 2007 we learned what he was really capable of. He had the worst crash of his career when his Funny Car broke in half and tumbled over and over through the finish line at over 300 miles per hour. It was a miracle he survived, and doctors worried he'd never walk again," said Force Hood, the first time graphic novelist."But to watch his recovery, his return to the Funny Car, and a few years later, his amazing comeback as he won his 15th NHRA Championship on the last day of the 2010 season, we realized the true meaning of Super Man! This was the inspiration of this graphic novel series." In his 30 + years of racing, John Force has had some amazing stories from his early days in racing, his time in Australia, and just the different crazy predicaments he's gotten himself into (and talked himself out of) over the years. The Destination Force story lines will be based loosely on real stories from his past. As Force is known to say he doesn't lie, he embellishes, and with this graphic novel John Force Entertainment hope to entertain fans with tales from the man, the myth, the legend that is John 'The Brute' Force. The first issue of Destinations Force is available now for pre-order and will be in the John Force Racestation retail store this weekend on December 4th at the Holiday Car Show. The first edition will cost $5 per issue and a limited number of autographed issues will be available for $15. Online orders can be placed at www.johnforceracestation.com.
