Best Appearing Car – Stewart Racing 2003 Dodge Stratus Competition Eliminator entry. Driver: Douglas Stewart, Edwardsburg, Mich.

Best Appearing Crew – Prosthetic Design Incorporated/Damp Rid Pro Stock Bike entry. Driver: Reggie Showers, Philadelphia

Hedman Hedders Best Engineered Vehicle Award ($1,000 to the best engineered vehicle) – Purvis Ford Lincoln Mercury 2003 Ford Escort ZX2 Pro Stock entry. Driver: Robert Patrick Jr., Fredericksburg, Va.

Budweiser Shootout At Pomona Award ($4,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Top Fuel) – Tony Schumacher, Long Grove, Ill., United States Army dragster, 4.512 seconds, 326.16 mph.

Budweiser Shootout At Indianapolis Award ($4,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Funny Car) – John Force, Yorba Linda, Calif., Castrol Ford Mustang, 4.721 seconds, 325.30 mph.

NHRA King Demon Crown Award ($3,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Pro Stock) – Greg Anderson, Concord, N.C., Vegas General Construction Pontiac Grand Am, 6.761 seconds, 203.58 mph.

K&N Filters Pro Bike Klash ($1,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Pro Stock Motorcycle) – Geno Scali, Chicago, Trim-Tex Drywall Products Suzuki, 7.139 seconds, 186.36 mph.

Motel 6 “Who Got the Light” ($1,000 to the individual Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock driver who earns a round win in eliminations by the narrowest margin.) – Greg Stanfield defeated Mark "Cowboy" Pawuk by .0067-of-a-second margin of victory in the first round of Pro Stock eliminations.

Strange Engineering “Perfectly Strange” Performance Award ($250 bonus to the first racer in Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, and Super Street who wins an elimination round by running dead-on their dial-in or index) – Tim Garrison, Super Comp; and Rick Cates, Super Gas.
