Left Lane: Bert Dawson Runs 7.910/169.64/-0.410, Now #23; B/EA Index: 8.32, Prior Best: 7.874/171.55/-0.446, Was #23
Right Lane: Van Puckett Runs 8.352/161.71/-0.518, Now #17; G/AA Index: 8.87, Prior Best: 8.363/160.77/-0.507, Was #17
3:23 p.m. Puckett improves a little but not enough to move him up in the order. No help for Dawson.

Larsen was disqualified in the last round for being light. He cranks the engine and has an oil leak preventing him from making a pass. White makess this time and moves up to the 16th spot.

Williams has problems late in the run and backs off the throttle. Treadwell clicks it off early.
