MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 27th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals:

Dixon is 19 - 8 against Vandergriff in prior events. They left together and this was a great drag race...Dixon takes the win by 0.0226 seconds (approximately 11 feet). Larry Dixon's incremental margins: 60ft(0.009), 330 ft(0.017), 660ft(0.018). Vandergriff runs a career best in the losing effort. Bob Vandergriff's incremental times: 60ft-0.854 sec., 330ft-2.162, 660ft-3.056/284.27 mph.

Massey is 6 - 2 against Schumacher in prior events. Massey with the starting line advantage and never trailed as Schumacher pedaled it about 150 feet out. Massey with another great pass for the win. Spencer Massey's incremental times: 60ft-0.842 sec., 330ft-2.141, 660ft-3.031/285.41 mph. Massey will have lane choice against Dixon in the next round.

Brown is 7 - 0 against Grubnic in prior events. Brown with the starting line advantage and then the car started mixing up cylinders and the engine let go with a quick fireball and the chutes deployed automatically. Grubnic with another good looking pass for the win.
