Thacker gets off the line first and starts to pull away. Reichert starts to make up ground, then puts out a cylinder or two on the left side late in the run and falls behind.

This is the first time Stalba and Comella have faced each other in eliminations.

Comella is late off the line then gets about 1000 feet down, puts out a cylinder and bangs the blower. Stalba goes right down the groove with her quickest pass of the weekend to take the win.

This is the first time Powell and Kosky have faced each other in eliminations.

Kosky is late off the line, then gets about 300 feet out, the engine falls silent and the chutes pop out. Powell goes right down the groove with a decent pass but will give up lane choice to Thacker in the next round.
