BRAINERD, Minn. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 29th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals:

Shields is 6 - 0 against Demke in prior events and Shields is 1 - 0 against Demke in prior final rounds. Shields is out of the gate first, but Demke has the difference made up by 150 feet. Demke pulled out for the lead and Shields was charging back until he started dropping cylinders around 1000 feet. Demke holds on for the win by 0.0117 seconds (approximately 5 feet). Chris Demke's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.006), 330 ft(0.037), 660ft(0.025), 1,000ft(0.002). MOV: 0.0117 seconds (approximately 5 feet). Demke with his third National event win and second after qualifying number one.
