BRAINERD, Minn. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Funny Car at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 29th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Left Lane: Dale Creasy Jr. Runs 4.232/282.95, Now #2
Right Lane: Bob Bode Runs 4.184/297.35, Now #1
5:35 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 71 percent, barometer 28.33 inches, adjusted altitude 3,977 feet.
A nice way to start this round with both cars going straight down the track. Creasy runs a career best elapsed time.
